Appomattox Project Mgmt RFQ Ad with Town Seal





The Town of Appomattox has been awarded a CDBG Community Improvement Grant for revitalization efforts in Downtown Appomattox.  The purpose of this grant is to spur economic development and will be accomplished primarily through improvements to commercial façades and streetscape/parking improvements.

The Town of Appomattox is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide management services for the administration of this grant.  Statements should include the firm’s experience with similar projects, especially in communities of less than 10,000 in population, relevant experience of staff assigned to the project, references from past projects of similar nature, and understanding of the scope of the project.

A Selection Committee shall evaluate all Statements and rank firms to be selected for formal interviews.  The Town reserves the right to reject any or all Statements that fail to qualify as responsive to its needs; to waive any technicalities in Statements received; to waive the interview process entirely; to negotiate and choose a firm that shall be in the Town’s best interest; and to negotiate a contract with the selected firm.  The Town of Appomattox is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, political affiliation, or faith-based organizations.
